PIT strives to educate the community about domestic violence, which includes educating those who are using violence against their partners, as well as those who are being victimized by their partner’s violence. The focus of our domestic violence prevention work is being conducted in the middle schools and high schools. Our Teen Dating Violence Prevention Program addresses domestic violence by providing community outreach services that educate middle and high school students throughout the bay area.
The goal of PIT is to continue to provide affordable services for individuals seeking counseling so that we may continue to serve our diverse population community including veterans and their families. PIT also offers affordable counseling services by our interned and licensed staff for individuals who are struggling with issues such as: trauma, relationship issues, sexual abuse and depression.
