Peace-It-Together was awarded the Aetna REFLECTIONS OF EXCELLENCE STAR, which recognizes "the achievements of our organization impacting the Social Determinants of Health in our community."
Our Mission
Peace-It-Together Counseling Agency provides prevention and intervention counseling services to at-risk youth, and offers affordable mental health care services to vulnerable populations in our community. We recognize many people do not have the necessary insurance to seek mental health services. PIT intentionally offers lower fee counseling to: individuals, children, teens, couples and the older-aging population to help those who would not ordinarily be able to afford counseling. We make our services affordable by offering them on a sliding scale based on your income.

- Trauma: (We accept Victim Witness)
- Teen Depression: Group counseling available for teens and parents
- Parenting Classes: 12 Week group- New Skills and Choices (NSC):Co and Parallel Parenting: Class Fees for NSC: 25.00 per class
- Counseling for Children/Teens: Individual counseling available

Peace-It-Together is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit agency providing affordable mental health services to Santa Clara County and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. It was founded over 16 years ago by its Director and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Deborah Licurse. Since then, PIT was awarded a contract with the Santa Clara County Probation Department and has created various evidence-based programs to address our communities mental health needs. PIT has a professionally trained staff comprised of Marriage and Family Therapist Interns, Trainees and volunteers. You can find out more about Peace-It-Together on our About page.
